All basic courses offered by AGROCAMPUS OUEST are accessible to foreign students.
To see the conditions of admission applicable to foreign students and download an application form, please consult the "Admission" section for the different courses.

Choose your course and submit your application.

Please note : most master’s programmes offered are jointly accredited with other universities. Enrolments may take place at AGROCAMPUS OUEST or at the partner institution, as the case may be.

Masters

In M1 or M2

Course location

Depending on the master’s programme, courses take place at the university or at AGROCAMPUS OUEST.
Please contact the director of the master’s programme.

Admission procedures

By assessment of application, and potentially an interview, for holders of a B3 and/or an M1. The conditions are set individually by the master.

Procedure

Step 1. Choose your master from the following list : click here.

Step 2. Enrol with the institution which deals with the master.
The name of the institution in charge of enrolments is given under the section for each master’s degree.
The admission procedures, application form, course organisation, and professional opportunities will be detailed on an individual basis for each master.

Step 3. Enrol with Campus France

> If there is a Campus France office in your country of residence, it is essential that you enrol there, choose the course you wish to take from the catalogue of courses offered by AGROCAMPUS OUEST and complete the entire CEF process.

If AGROCAMPUS OUEST is the enrolment institution, it is essential that you send also an additional application form directly to us, along with the requested documents. Without this form, your application will not be considered.

Admission condition

Foreign applicants holding a master’s 1 (bachelor’s degree equivalent plus one year of master’s study) majoring in science or an equivalent engineering qualification obtained in the same year as the examination or the previous year.

Examination procedure

The examination procedure includes an assessment of the application (to determine admissibility) and oral admission tests (panel interview and language test) intended to assess applicants’ knowledge, abilities and motivation.
Following the oral admission tests, applicants are ranked. The panel then holds a final session during which it decides whether applicants are to be accepted, placed on a waiting list, or rejected.
Failure to attend the interview will lead to rejection of the application.
The admission results will be published on the institution’s website: www.agrocampus-ouest.fr
Successful applicants must communicate their final decision before the given deadline otherwise they will be considered as resigning applicants.

Food Science and Engineering Msc

In B1 / Bachelor year 1

Admission conditions
Admission takes place through assessment of educational records and by interview for students holding a qualification equivalent to the “baccalauréat S” (school-leaving certificate specialising in science) for the year of the competition or the previous year.
For information on the enrolment procedures for the competition, please contact the registration and competitions office, providing your contact details and level of education (lastest qualification obtained).

In B2 / Bachelor year 2

Admission takes place through assessment of educational records and by interview for students with a qualification equivalent to the second year of a bachelor’s degree (B2) awarded in the year of the entrance examination or the previous year.

PhD

Conditions for admission

The conditions for admission are identical regardless of the nationality of applicants.
There is no specific period of enrolment for a PhD at AGROCAMPUS OUEST.

To enrol, students must have :

  • a master's or master's-level qualification
  • a thesis topic proposed and funded within a laboratory belonging to one of AGROCAMPUS OUEST's doctoral schools
  • a research laboratory agreeing to host them
  • a thesis supervisor (who is an established researcher), authorised to provide research supervision
  • a means of subsistence (funding, generally a thesis grant, providing living expenses for the 3 years involved up to defence of the thesis)
  • evidence of social welfare cover

The forms required for the enrolment application are available on request from the Coordination des Formations Doctorales [PhD Courses Coordination office].

Enrolment in a PhD course is confirmed by the director of AGROCAMPUS OUEST at the proposal of the director of the Doctoral School following approval by the thesis supervisor and the director of the research unit.

The amount of annual tuition fees is set yearly by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. In 2016/2017, these fees are €391.
